"Our School"Reed and I will be attending the Universita per Stranieri di Siena, the University for Foreigners.
We have enrolled and been accepted for classes starting October 1 and continuing through the end of December. We are enrolled in Italian Language and Culture Courses for non-Italian speakers. After we have successfully completed three months we have the option to register for another three months if we want. The school is located in withing the walls of Siena, right in the historic center near the Porta Romana city gate (Southeastern section of the city). See the map from this post to get a better idea of the location. The picture below is one of the few pictures I have found of the school. Looks pretty nice!
The Universita per Stranieri di Siena is one of Italy's two state universities geared toward Foreigners. The other, larger university, is in Perugia which is in Umbria.
