I just read here, that Siena will be part of the new James Bond movie (does not have a name yet but is scheduled to be released in November 2008)! Now, Reed is not a fan, but I am (Dad, Jaime, you reading this?) . We always watch James Bond at Christmas and Thanksgiving when they air the "007 days of...." on Spike TV. Thanksgiving just is not Thanksgiving with James Bond!! Anyway, during this past Palio, they shot footage which will be used in the new James Bond film and the Palio will serve as a backdrop to a scene in which James Bond chases a villain across Siena's rooftops on foot (this apparently has not been shot yet). After chasing the villain through the cobblestone streets of "our" new home, they then descend into an underground network of tunnels known as "bottini" (kind of like the tunnels in our new apartment!!!!).
Bottini in SienaMaybe Daniel Craig 'aka James Bond' will be running through our apartment in a real 007 movie!!!!! Can't wait!!!!
