The Torre Mangia against the night sky
One of the typical streets in Siena leading to il Campo. This is in the Oca (Goose) contrada-they won the July 2 Palio. We are going to live in the Onda contrada (the wave, symbolizewd by a fish)
This is a view looking south west from the old Medici fortress-now it is a sort of park that has a amphitheater for music in the summer as well as an Enoteca that has a huge supply of wine. Our apartment is on the right. Near one of the churches-you can see the church better if you click on the picture)

Congrats on finding an apartment (both the temporary one and the real one) after your ordeal. I wish you two much happiness in your new home.
But I have to know - what kind of a dog is Oliver?
Thanks. I'm not exactly sure what kind of dog-I think park Rhodesian Ridgeback and maybe Lab. He has the face of a Ridgeback though!
