Siena's weekly market day is Wednesday. In anticipation, Reed purchased a special backpack for Oliver for his birthday so that he can go with us, and more importantly help carry all the food!
Look how handsome he is!
Coincidentally, the backpack is the perfect size to carry wine bottles...........
Of course, for all his hard work, Oliver will be eating very well too! He looks forward to enjoying the variety of cheeses (his favorite food after Salmon) available in Italy!
Oliver loves wearing the backpack! We think that he thinks he is very important when he wears it!

Glad you guys like the backpack! I think it is great. He is having a little anxiety about the impending move-he just destroyed two new pairs of pants I bought (he is 6!)
That is probably one of the things i miss the most of Italia... FreshFreshFresh food...less preservatives, steroids, hormones... healthier life style is easier...
